Miley Cyrus är nu ansiktet för Maison Margielas nya kampanj.
Det är ändå rätt poetiskt:
Från Hannah Montana till att bli en tabimålad modeikon. Snacka om karriärbåge.
Margiela säger att hon är “stripped-back and immersed in the core codes of the Maison.” Det betyder att de har sminkat ner henne lite och slängt på en trenchcoat som ser ut som nån redan slitit sönder den på en efterfest i Berlin.
Men det passar Miley. Hon har ju alltid varit expert på att dekonstruera sitt eget varumärke. Först var hon wholesome Disney, sen blev hon twerkande wrecking ball, sen psykedelisk glitterhäxa.
Men jag måste ändå ge henne cred. Hon gör det på sina egna villkor. Och handen på hjärtat, jag skulle också hellre bli målad med Margielas penslar än fastna för evigt i rollen som Hannah Montana.
